Doctoral degree (PhD)

PhD in Economic Management: 3 years for master’s graduates, 4 years for bachelor’s graduates with distinction; admission by application review and research proposal.

Eligibility

  • A master’s degree, or a bachelor’s degree with distinction or higher, in a relevant field;
  • Research experience: a research-oriented master’s thesis, published papers or reports, or at least 2 years as a lecturer or researcher;
  • A draft research proposal and full study and research plan;
  • A reference from one scholar (professor, associate professor or doctor);
  • Foreign-language proficiency equivalent to level 4 or above (international candidates studying in Vietnamese: Vietnamese level 4 or above);
  • Nomination by an employer or training institution, or confirmation by local authorities.

Admission method

Selection by application review, presentation of the research proposal and interview, scored out of 100. Planned quota: 15 per intake.

Tuition, fees and scholarships

Tuition VND 1,600,000 per credit; application fee VND 2,100,000. Scholarships: 100% tuition waiver for international doctoral candidates; 50% of total tuition for staff of the Thado Edupark ecosystem; merit scholarships for domestic candidates.
