Japan Internship – 12-month paid internship
Engineering students complete their company semester at a Japanese company, in partnership with LETCO.
The Japan Internship – a paid trainee programme – is a highlight of Thanh Do University’s industry-linked training strategy. Since 2024, Automotive Engineering Technology students have completed 12-month internships in Japan and returned to continue their studies; the next group left in August 2025 and returned in August 2026.
Selection dates, language and health requirements and preparation costs are announced for each intake. Register to be notified of the next one.
Benefits and scholarships
- A 12-month internship in a specific role at a Japanese company in your field (for example, automotive students assembling car components).
- Paid internship: the university states income can reach VND 30,000,000 per month depending on the company and role (not a guarantee).
- Improve your language skills and professional work habits; some students have been invited to keep working at the company afterwards.
- Complete the company semester and return to continue your studies.
Visa, insurance and safety
The university has warned about organisations falsely using its name to recruit for study or joint training in Japan. Do not pay or submit documents through individuals or centres not on the partner list; ask the admissions officer to verify.
